          Trusted Pool Contractor

How to Find the Right Commercial Custom Pools Builders

Building a pool can be exciting, but also a little overwhelming. How do you know which commercial custom pool builders you should choose? After all, there are probably several different companies qualified to do the work in your area. In this article, you'll find 5 tips on finding the pool builder that's right for you.

          Word of Mouth Trumps All

The recommendations you can trust usually come from family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, acquaintances, or even your competitors. If you're looking for a builder, the best thing you can do is to talk to the people you know who already have a swimming pool. Ask them about their builder, and ask them if they would recommend that builder.

These people have nothing to lose by telling you the truth. In some cases, you might walk away with a negative recommendation. While that doesn't help you find the right builder, it does help you steer away from a bad one. Don't be shy about it and ask everyone you know. Most people want to be helpful.

          Obtain 3-4 Estimates

After you've narrowed it down a few companies you'd like to work with, it's time to collect some bids. Most likely they'll come out to your site to check out the surroundings and estimate how much clearing needs to be done. If you want to be able to compare the bids to each other, it's a good idea to ask for quotes for similar-size pools.

          Have a Budget in Mind

Pool building can be an expensive process. As you take a look at your options, you'll realize that the sky's the limit when it comes to pool construction costs. However, few companies and even fewer people have an unlimited budget for their new pool. In that case, it's important to figure out exactly how much you're willing to spend. If you plan to finance the construction of your pool, then you need to figure out what type of monthly payments you can handle.

          Know What You Want

Building a pool isn't something you'll do more than once on your property. That's because in-ground pools are labor-intensive to build, not to mention extremely difficult to alter or remove after the fact. Before you hire a pool builder, it's a good idea to figure out what type of pool you're looking for. Do you want a pool for lap swimming or are you looking for a family pool with varying depths? Would you like a rectangular pool or do you prefer rounded or unique shapes? What do you want the pool surroundings to look like? Remember that each of those choices will affect the final cost.

          Look for Ongoing Service

Obviously, it takes a lot of work to build commercial custom pools in Atlanta. But it also takes a lot of time and effort to maintain a swimming pool in the long run. That's why it's a good idea to select a pool builder that also offers maintenance and repair service. The builder is the person most qualified to service your pool because they know what went into it. And it makes your life easier after the fact because it's one-stop shopping.

We have had the privilege of being awarded more than 60 Design Awards in every award category, including custom residential concrete pools, commercial concrete pools, in-ground vinyl liner pools, and major renovations. Hilltop was named one of the “Top 50 Pool Builders in the USA” by Pool and Spa News in 2013-2017. Pool builders across the United States were evaluated in several areas, including the total number of pools built, customer service, certifications, industry involvement, employee retention, as well as advertising and social media presence. Our company was also nationally recognized for customer service and social media. We were the only Georgia company on the list in 2016 and 2017!

We would consider it a privilege to design and construct your project and have you as a member of our “Hilltop Family.”
